![]() That's not saying much for Leaning Tower, but until they get some vegan food, I won't say much more. Leaning Tower is my "safety" bar when Red Dragon, The Bulldog and CC Club are too crowded. They have a standard array of draft beers which are reasonably priced. Their cocktails are sort of expensive ($6-8 a piece) and not too memorable, nor are they loaded with booze (unlike Red Dragon, a couple blocks up the road). The only appeal of Leaning Tower of Pizza is that it's open late, serves alcohol and generally isn't crowded. I'm not even sure it's worth the hassle of figuring it out, but I'll update this once I have the exact details. ![]() ![]() One vegan friend has told me that you can get a vegan pasta dish at Leaning Tower, but it requires lots of changes and substitutions, as the normal marinara sauce they use has cheese, so it has to be switched, and the bread has milk proteins, etc. ![]() As such, I must dock them a star for their stubborn ignorance to the fact that they're in a progessive, thoughtful, amazingly vegan-friendly neighborhood. Menu Full menu Not so sure about the entres and subs but the pizza is really good and the sausage in 6 reviews in 2 reviews prompt. I am tempted to give this place three stars instead of two, but they offer almost NO vegan food whatsoever and don't seem to realize that they're losing a massive amount of potential business because of it. ![]()
